Updates 01/22 (Ver 0.5.0)


Hello everyone!  *read with the voice of our Best Girl*

This time, I kind of finished with a week of anticipation in comparison to my actual schedule. This is to have a whole week in which I can fix big bugs that I may have missed while working on a new game mode I wanted to try adding to the game. I thought it could be sort of a separate kind of game as well but that would require extra adjustments I'm not willing to do so yeah, expect to get a new game mode in a couple of weeks. Now, as per usual, the long list of things added, fixed and changed:

  1. BOSSES: Since the introduction of leveling for enemies, some adjustments were made during Version 0.4 and, with the help of further feedback, I think I figured out a more fair treatment of bosses to make them challenging but not frustrating, especially in early levels.  Basically, since all the Stages are selected randomly at the moment you travel to the next one, bosses are going to get a small bonus for each Stage you have completed. Now, you don't need to grind much nor do you need to worry to have grinded too much in the early stages (because  the previous system of making bosses way too much powerful if you rise over a certain level)
  2. NEW CHARACTERS: Confirmed to be Miko, Suisei, Mio, Fubuki, and Haachama, making the count of 37 normally playable characters, each one of them with different Classes and some of them with alternative versions, making the list a little longer
  3. DETECTIVE FILES UPDATED: New entries added to the bestiary of the game
  4. FANTASY BATTLE MODE UPDATED: The new Bosses will be added to the Boss Rush mode of the game.  ATTENTION: If you are playing from a previous Version, you have to finish the game again to access this game mode again. So if you are trying to clear this mode to get all the missing Soul Weapons, I suggest you do that before updating
  5. NEW SPECIAL ENEMIES:  Confirmed to be two more hidden special enemies that you can find in the extra areas of the Void, based on the characters of Holostars!
  6. EXTRA DUNGEON: A place that it's kind of different from what have I done so far in the game, only accessible after you defeat the last boss for this version AND clear the Special Quiz (which you can access if you search around the Office after clearing the game up until now in Version 0.4). I won't say anything else aside from the fact that: 1) it has some extra info in the setting of this game made fan fiction and 2) it's not required to go ahead on the game whatsoever, as the name suggests, it's just extra stuff for those willing to go deeper on the game
  7. AKI REWORK: Aki now works differently from before and has some extra Skills: in the office, if you have made the Class Upgrade for her, you can choose if take Aki on her first Class or her second one. Her first Class is focused on Hybrid Damage and tends to be more on the offensive, while her second Class will be pretty much as it was before, dealing Magic Damage and having useful Support Skills
  8. LUCK NOW IS USEFUL!!!!!: If any character's Luck Stat rises above 800, it will have an extra 30% chance to deal Critical Hits!
  9. BASIC STATS LIMIT BREAK!: This means that the previous limit for all Basic Stats (Atk, Def, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def, Spd and Lck) will rise from the previous 999 to 1999! The max level will still be 100, though. This is not extremely changing for those who play the game casually and have fewer tendencies to farm/grind. Instead, it gives the chance for those who grind a lot of Crystals to get the boosters from the vending machines and pump up the girls to a whole new level of power!
  10. INSTANT CAST: Some Skills have become instantaneous, which means once you execute that Skill, it will happen immediately, so characters with such Skills can perform another action in the same turn. You can see which characters have these skills on the "changes" section

Thank you for playing, and I hope you will have a lot of fun with the game still, as I get closer to my goal of completing this hella big game! The next version will be 0.6 that adds that new game mode I discussed before plus some extra stuff but after that, I will work towards Version 1.0, which means the completion of the game, at last, perhaps around the anniversary of this game on this platform!  Now, if you want all the details of what has changed/fixed, you can keep scrolling!

CHANGES:

  • Added new Skills to 100% run from fights for Risu, Coco and Polka
  • Added new Skill for Rushia (Necromancer Class)
  • New Items in the Vending Machine and Gacha Machine
  • New Secret Boss
  • Boost to Luna's Soul Weapon
  • Effect of Watame's Skill Tsunodrill 
  • Polka's Skills Hologram Circus and PO PO PO! have Instant Cast
  • Polka Skill Legend of Polka now rises also Lck
  • Reine Magic Assimilation Skill has Instant Cast
  •  Watame's Skill Watame no Uta has Instant Cast
  • Watame's Song Lullaby from Yuniira's effect buff
  •  Moona, Fubuki and Mio's basic attacks count also their Sp.Atk on the damage calculation
  • Moona's Skill Red Moon now increases also her Sp.Atk for five turns
  • Flare's Skeleton Sans Skill is now triggered also by single target Skills, and increase not only Atk but all Basic Stats PERMANENTLY
  • Coco's Dragon Form Skill Hip Attack now deals damage based on how much Tp is used to perform the Skill

FIXED:

  • Text and wording all over the game
  • There was a bug that happened at a certain point midgame if you touch the White Crystal next to AO-chan, making the screen fade out. If that happened to you, before touching the Crystal, talk to AO-chan and Irys, which will give you instructions about what to do. After doing that mini quest, the Crystal should work as intended
  • Happy Synthesizer is no more usable after an ally is recovered from KO
  • Elemental Damage wasn't working as intended: Physical and Hybrid Attacks can add n Elements to the damage output
    Now Physical and Hybrid Skills properly are affected by the Element of the currently equipped weapon(s), while Magic Skills only consider the Element(s) of the Skill
  • Fix Execution Kiseki Knot for Luna
