Updates 11/27 (Ver 0.4.0)


Hello everyone!  *read with the voice of YAGOO My Dearest*

I barely made it before the end of the month but, thanks to the tester of the game, Psyqi, it is done!
A lot has been happening in our community, with all the shenanigans of the Council and the newcomers HoloX, adding stuff to this game is getting almost out of my hands! But I'm happy and enthusiastic to add all the stuff I can to reference all that is good in Hololive. This game is made out of pure passion for the girls, and I try my best to make something that all RPG and Hololive fans can enjoy, knowing more about the girls and maybe, who knows, picking an interest for those you haven't checked that much yet! That being said, let's go to the main points but, before that, a warning!

IMPORTANT!! I added even more mechanics and new stuff to the game, and I and Psyqi tested many scenarios but perhaps some bugs are still present on the game, so I highly recommend having multiple save files and save often when possible, so in case of a bug you can easily return to a safe point!

  1. ENEMY LEVELS: Perhaps the most important improvement as a mechanic for the game.  For the first six stages, enemies will keep the level of difficulty they had until now but, after that, random encounters will contain enemies which level fluctuates around the average level of all the members of the current fighting Party. Keep in mind this when forming a Party. For example, if your leader is around level 40 and the rest of the Party is around level 25, enemies will spawn with a level between those two levels, sometimes with a slightly higher or lower level. This means all their stats will increase, but also the EXP gained in battle, which was a problem in the game up to this point. Leveling up is going to be faster but also random encounters will be more challenging
  2. ENEMY SELECTION: To improve and add more mechanics I used a lot of new Plugins and one of them is the one that manages the selection of allies or enemies by using a Skill/Item. This plugin uses also the mouse so, if you see that you cannot select a different opponent using the keyboard arrows, change it using the mouse. It happens also if your pointer is above some enemy while you're playing so be aware of this. I'm sorry I can't fix this that is not a problem in itself but can be a little annoying sometimes
  3. ACHIEVEMENTS: It's just like a trophy system, but now you can challenge yourself to get some of these! Have in mind that some are available only when the game is 100% complete or cannot be completed 100% for the same reason. Also, if you're playing from a previous
    Version, you may have missed the chance to collect some achievements, depending at what point of the game you are. So this can be a chance to explore the game starting with another girl, as well!
  4. NEW CHARACTERS: Confirmed to be Kanata, Towa, Rushia, Noel, and Flare, making the count of 32 playable characters, each one of them with different Classes and some of them with alternative versions, making the list a little longer!
  5. NEW BATTLE BGM: If you have completed the game until this point, you will be able to access to new battle BGM from the jukebox:  Kagetsu no Yume, Ahoy! and Here Comes Hope
  6. DETECTIVE FILES UPDATED: New entries added to the bestiary of the game
  7. FANTASY BATTLE MODE UPDATED: The new Bosses will be added to the Boss Rush mode of the game. If you are playing from a previous Version, you have to finish the game again to access this game mode
  8. NEW SKILL MECHANIC: "Dark Awakening" and "Time Paradox".  A new accessory in the game will give some girls the ability to "transform" in their Alternative form from the actual Hololive Lore (meme and not!). The item is obtainable after defeating the last boss of this Version when talking to AO-chan and, as for right now, Gura and three more girls possess that skill, but a total of 10 girls will have this skill by the completion of this game 
  9. NEW SPECIAL ENEMIES:  Confirmed to be four hidden special enemies that you can find in the extra areas of the Void, based on the characters of Holostars!
  10. MINIGAMES: Just for fun, there are two minigames you can play: One is the Tsunomaki Janken, available as soon as you get Watame, while the other one is available after completing Version 0.4 talking to a certain new character!

Thank you for playing, and I hope you will have a lot of fun with the game still, as I get closer to my goal of completing this hella big game!

CHANGES:

  • Balance of all current enemies present in the game to align with the new leveling system
  • Unison Skill between Calli and Gura is now called "KING Supremacy"
  • During the credits, the BGM changes depending on which girl you chose first
  • Rework on Subaru's skillset to make her more useful in different kinds of situations
  • Dragon Coco's Skill "Dragon Breath" damage has been increased 
  • Added to Marine (Senchou) the  Skill "Unison"
  • Added to Lamy (Ice Elf) the Skill "Borderline Towards Tomorrow"
  • Added +15% Crit Rate to Okayu and Korone's Passive Skills when they trigger
  • Ame Ultimate Skill "Case Closed" hits two random enemies instead of three
  • The Soul Weapon "A.P.EX Riffle" adds +1 attack instead of +2

FIXED:

  • The equipment "Dog Collar" was increasing Defense instead of Attack as intended
  • Switch Skills could cause crashes when used on a Party with less than five members. Now those Skills appear as unavailable when the Party has not at least five members
  • Coco didn't recover her normal form after a battle when using her Ultimate Skill but appeared as KO instead
  • Okayu Passive Skill never triggers
  • Korone Passive Skills never triggers
  • Alter Watame Skill "Horn Impalement" wasn't behaving as intended

Ame was really way too broken with that!!!

its fine now my ame is gonna world destroyer + demon blade
